The AOGKF hosts several training camps (Gasshuku) and tournaments each year. In addition to this AOGKF hosts and participates in International events for IOGKF International.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, border closures, lock down's and more, the AOGKF Executive Committee has decided to move the 2021 National Gasshuku set to be held in Goulburn this November, online via Zoom. The Gasshuku will run over two days, (Saturday Nov 13 in the afternoon and Sunday Nov 14 in the morning).
Our special guest for training on Sunday November 14th will be IOGKF World Chief Instructor, Sensei Tetsuji Nakamura. Nakamura Sensei will teach black belt, kyu grade, childrens and all grade seminars throughout the day.

The AOGKF Executive Committee will travel to Caloundra for the 2022 Queensland State Gasshuku in March. The event will be held at the beautiful Sunshine Coast recreation centre, right on the beach in beautiful Caloundra. An all inclusive cost of $250 will cover a participants training fees, accommodation and food and drink for the duration of the weekend.
Limited to 100 spaces, a $30 deposit is required to secure your place. If COVID restrictions end up effecting participation, your deposit is fully refundable.

Sensei Joe Roses O.A.M and Sensei Kevin Nash will lead ACT members in a special State Gasshuku event! Held at Namadgi high school, this will be the second annual ACT State event! See your Dojo instructor for a registration form from March 2022.
Sensei David Lambert and senior AOGKF NSW Dojo instructors will travel to the brand new Lambert Karate Dojo in Goulburn, which will host it's first ever Gasshuku at this world class facility!
Registration will take place online and this event has limited places! Registration opens in February 2022!
The Executive Committee will once again come together at Namadgi school in Canberra, ACT for the 2022 AOGKF Black and Brown Belt Gasshuku. The tentative plan at the moment is to host out usual in person Gasshuku, while at the same time streaming all sessions for those interstate members who may be unable to attend.
On the afternoon of May 28th, the AOGKF will hold it's annual Dan grading test. This must be taken in person. Registration forms will be available from your Dojo instructor from April 4th, 2022.
IOGKF Chief instructor for Australia, Sensei Joe Roses O.A.M will travel to Melbourne to lead the 2022 Victorian State Gasshuku. Sensei Roses is an IOGKF 7th Dan and the highest graded Sensei in the Oceania region.

Four tournaments in the month of August!
All state will have their members compete in Kata and Iri Kumi as they to secure a place in the National championships in Goulburn in November, 2022.
Nakamura Sensei will be the AOGKF's special guest instructor in Goulburn, NSW for the 2022 AOGKF National Gasshuku! This will be the biggest ever attempted AOGKF and will be celebration of everyone's courage and resilience over the past 2 years.
