IOGKF AOGKF EVENTS

JUNE 13, 2026 - TATHRA, NSW

Tathra Karate will play host to two of the most senior instructors within the AOGKF when they put on the New South Wales Far South Coast Regional Seminar on June 13. Goulburn instructors and AOGKF Executive Committee members, Sensei David & Sensei Shenae Lambert will be teaching at the Tathra Dojo of Sensei Joseph Falsone from 10:15-13:30hrs. This is the first time the Lambert's have visited Tathra and they are very keen to meet AOGKF members of the far south coast!

This Gasshuku will cover many aspects of the Goju-ryu curriculum and give members an opportunity to learn more about the upcoming IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku in November! JULY 10-12, 2026 - PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

The first ever AOGKF Western Australia State Gasshuku will take place in Perth from July 10-12, 2026. AOGKF President, Sensei David Lambert, and AOGKF Executive Committee Member, Sensei Mitchell Hill will journey to Perth for this special event covering all aspects of the Goju-ryu system. 

All AOGKF members are welcome to attend this Gasshuku in beautiful WA.

YOUR LOCAL DOJO - AUG 31-SEP 5, 2026

Join the AOGKF's biggest annual inter-dojo event! Sign up to try your hand (or foot) at breaking a wooden board during normal class time and all profits from the event will go straight towards supporting the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku event to be held in November!

Participate in a National event without having to even leave your Dojo! Open to Grasshoppers, Pee-wee and Teen & Adult members! Register online and literally give it a crack!

 2026 will see the return of the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku for the first time in almost 30 years! The last Asian Pacific Gasshuku took place in Goulburn, Australia in 1998 and in the 2026 it will return to the same location! Last year it was decided the Asian Gasshuku and the Oceania Gasshuku would once again merge to bring back the glory of the Asian Pacific Gasshuku's of the past! 2026 will provide International visitors the unique opportunity to visit iconic Sydney and then travel together to Goulburn, experiencing the best of both the city and the country in the wonderland that is Australia. We have a team of 13 International level instructors teaching at this event that will usher in a new era of IOGKF in the Asian Pacific!

IT HAS NEVER BEEN BIGGER THAN THIS!

For AOGKF members, this is a once in a lifetime event that will never be repeated again. We will host the biggest Karate event in the world for 2026! Save the dates!

2027 will see the sunshine state of Queensland host the AOGKF National Gashuku and Championships for the first time ever!

The event will be held at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre allowing you and your family to train, eat and sleep in one incredible location! Located on the beach and only a short drive to the middle of Caloundra this is a fantastic opportunity to combine a Gasshuku and a holiday in one!

There will be a beach training session and National chamionship finals as part of the event, along with a black belt dinner and the annual AOGKF Karate Party dinner!
