The biggest event on the IOGKF International calendar and one that only comes around every 4-5 years. Journey to the birthplace of Karate and train under our world chief instructor, Sensei Tetsuji Nakamura, and the best instructors in the world. The AOGKF group booking has already been completed. SEPTEMBER 15, 2024 - GOULBURN, NSW

The annual AOGKF Ladies only Gasshuku will take place in Goulburn, NSW on September 15 from 9:00am-12:00pm with an optional lunch to follow. The seminar will be lead by Sensei Shenae Lambert - the highest graded female instructor in the AOGKF. This event is open to all AOGKF teenage and adult female AOGKF members. Sensei Shenae will continue to help our female members to develop their skills and confidence in the areas they highlighted to her. The event will take place in the awesome facilities at our Goulburn Dojo. Registration is now open online.
NOVEMBER 1-3, 2024

The AOGKF National Gasshuku will go to Canberra, ACT in 2024. Due the World Budosai event, there will be no state tournaments in 2024 and we will go straight to a National competition.
Friday evening will see training for Dojo instructors and Sensei's in an invitation only session.
Saturday will see all grades National Gasshuku running at Namadgi School with classes being run by the highest instructors in the AOGKF. That evening the annual Karate party dinner will be held at the Vikings Club Town Centre (TBC).
Sunday will bring about the National Friendship Tournament where we will be running Kata, Continous Kumite, Squares Kumite and Novelty events for children over four rings.
Registration and dinner ticket sales will open in August 2024. Accommodation and basic timetable information is available below.

This event is for Dojo head instructors only and invited guests only. 18:00-20:30.
All grades National Gasshuku. Pee-wee level and above are welcome to attend. This will be held at Namadgi School. Training will take place from 09:00-15:00 with breaks and lunch in between. There In the evening the annual AOGKF Karate party event will take place from 18:00-22:00hrs.
National Friendship Tournament day Divisions for 5 years and above across up to four divisions. Four rings running on the day with imediate presentations. The event will begin at 09:00hr with black belts divisions. Division start times will be posted online one week prior to the event. Held at Namadgi School

2026 will see the return of the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku for the first time in almost 30 years! The last Asian Pacific Gasshuku took place in Goulburn, Australia in 1998 and in the 2026 it will return to the same location! Last year it was decided the Asian Gasshuku and the Oceania Gasshuku would once again merge to bring back the glory of the Asian Pacific Gasshuku's of the past! 2026 will provide International visitors the unique opportunity to visit iconic Sydney and then travel together to Goulburn, experiencing the best of both the city and the country in the wonderland that is Australia. We have a team of 12 International level instructors teaching at this event that will usher in a new era of IOGKF in the Asian Pacific! IT HAS NEVER BEEN BIGGER THAN THIS!
