The AOGKF hosts several training camps (Gasshuku) and tournaments each year. In addition to this AOGKF hosts and participates in International events for IOGKF International.

The annual QLD State Gasshuku will take place in Brisbane on March 8, 2025. In 2025 Sensei David Lambert will be the guest instructor for the event and will be supported by the most senior instructors in Queensland.
This event is open to pee-wees, teens, adults and black belts.

The annual black and brown belt gasshuku will take place in Canberra, ACT from May 17-18, 2025. The Gasshuku will be headed by Sensei Joe Roses, chief instructor and IOGKF Advisor. Along with the Gasshuku, there will also be a black belt grading, and gasshuku dinner.

The 2025 Naitonal Gasshuku will be held over three days at the Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort! This incredible facility has its main hall covered in martial arts mats and is on the beach. You have the opportunity to eat, stay and train on the beach in this beautiful coastal city!
The event will be headed by Sensei Joe Roses - 8th Dan Cheif Instructor. He will be assisted by Sensei Kevin Nash, Sensei David Lambert and Dojo instructors from acorss Australia. In 2025 we are pleased to welcome Sensei Jorge Monteiro Jr from Portugal to this event as a special guest group instructor.
Along with a well planned Gasshuku in this fantastic venue, the AOGKF will also host its National Tournament Finals as part of the event, as well as the annual Karate Party Dinner.

2026 will see the return of the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku for the first time in almost 30 years! The last Asian Pacific Gasshuku took place in Goulburn, Australia in 1998 and in the 2026 it will return to the same location! Last year it was decided the Asian Gasshuku and the Oceania Gasshuku would once again merge to bring back the glory of the Asian Pacific Gasshuku's of the past! 2026 will provide International visitors the unique opportunity to visit iconic Sydney and then travel together to Goulburn, experiencing the best of both the city and the country in the wonderland that is Australia. We have a team of 12 International level instructors teaching at this event that will usher in a new era of IOGKF in the Asian Pacific! IT HAS NEVER BEEN BIGGER THAN THIS!
