The AOGKF hosts several training camps (Gasshuku) and tournaments each year. In addition to this AOGKF hosts and participates in International events for IOGKF International.

The annual AOGKF Black and Brown Belt Gasshuku will take place on May 25-26, 2024 in Canberra, ACT. The event will be lead by Sensei Joe Roses, IOGKF 8th Dan, and will cover the most advanced aspects of the Goju-ryu system. There will also be a Dan Grading test for eligible members put forward by their Dojo instructor.
The Gasshuku will be held at the Woden Valley Dojo (Maps below). The best accommodation option is the Abode apartments in Woden, which you can visit by clicking here.
On the Saturday evening there will be a grading results dinner planned for the Woden Southern Cross club (maps below also).

The AOGKF National Gasshuku will go to Canberra, ACT in 2024. Due the World Budosai event, there will be no state tournaments in 2024 and we will go straight to a National competition. There will be a two day Gasshuku and a one day Friendship Tournament. On the Saturday evening we will host our annual Karate Party dinner and awards ceremony. There will also be several speciality seminars running throughout the event. More details in early 2024.
