The 2026 AOGKF ACT State Gasshuku will take place in Woden, ACT on March 14, 2026. The event will be feature Sensei Joe Roses O.A.M - IOGKF 8th Dan and IOGKF Advisor and senior instructors from across the ACT.

2026 will also feature a special guest instructor with Sensei David Lambert - AOGKF President and IOGKF Mentorship Committee member coming to the ACT to share his knowledge at the event.

Sensei Joe Roses, IOGKF 8th Dan and IOGKF Advisor will return to Queensland for the first time since 2022 to lead the 2026 Queensland State Gasshuku. Accompanying Sensei Roses will be Sensei David Lambert - AOGKF President and IOGKF Mentorship Committee member. This is a rare opportunity for Queenslanders to train with the two most senior instructor in the AOGKF in their home state.

The 2026 AOGKF Black and Brown belt Gasshuku will take place in Canberra, ACT on May 2-3, 2026. The event will feature an advanced grades Gasshuku, a black belt grading test, presentation dinner and speciality seminars. This will be the last AOGKF Gasshuku training event until the Asian Pacific Gasshuku in November 2026. 

Sensei Joe Roses, Sensei David Lambert and senior instructors from across the country will headline the event.

The stakes are higher than ever with the 2026 AOGKF State Friendship Tournament series. The newly crowned 2026 State Championships will showcase their skill at the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku in front of the whole world. Black belt competitors will also face off against members from different countries in the first International IOGKF ournament to held in Australia in over a quarter of a century.

YOUR LOCAL DOJO - AUG 31-SEP 5, 2026

Join the AOGKF's biggest annual inter-dojo event! Sign up to try your hand (or foot) at breaking a wooden board during normal class time and all profits from the event will go straight towards supporting the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku event to be held in November!

Participate in a National event without having to even leave your Dojo! Open to Grasshoppers, Pee-wee and Teen & Adult members! Register online and literally give it a crack!

 2026 will see the return of the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku for the first time in almost 30 years! The last Asian Pacific Gasshuku took place in Goulburn, Australia in 1998 and in the 2026 it will return to the same location! Last year it was decided the Asian Gasshuku and the Oceania Gasshuku would once again merge to bring back the glory of the Asian Pacific Gasshuku's of the past! 2026 will provide International visitors the unique opportunity to visit iconic Sydney and then travel together to Goulburn, experiencing the best of both the city and the country in the wonderland that is Australia. We have a team of 13 International level instructors teaching at this event that will usher in a new era of IOGKF in the Asian Pacific!

IT HAS NEVER BEEN BIGGER THAN THIS!
