All of our Gasshuku training venues, party locations and recommended hotels are all within walking distance of eachother. Catch a bus or train to Goulburn and you can easily do the rest on foot.
AOGKF is currently working to secure a group transport option from Sydney to Goulburn, return. You will be able to travel to Goulburn with other IOGKF members after taking in the sites of Sydney.
GETTING TO GOULBURN FROM SYDNEY
The easiest way to explore public transport options from Sydney International or domestic airports is to use the 'plan my trip' government website. From Sydney airports, trains can be caught to Campbelltown Station (on the outskirts of city) and a quick train change will see you brought all the way to Goulburn through Australian farmland and small country towns. There are several options that do not require bookings, along with express options that do require a pre-booked ticket.
The 'plan my trip' website also provides bus coach options also. The website doesn't allow for bookings or time more than a few weeks prior to your trip. However trains and buses run from Sydney International airport to Campbelltown Station every few minutes. Campbelltown to Goulburn trains and buses run on fixed timetable and we have included a pdf of the train timetable below.
The best part is bus and train options both arrive at the Goulburn train station which is a 2 minute walk to all of our Gasshuku accommodation options.
If you are keen on exploring Sydney during your stay, the International ariport offers an express train from to Circular Quay - You can be at the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge in 15 minutes!

GETTING TO GOULBURN FROM CANBERRA
Canberra is closer to Goulburn, although rests in a different state. There are train and bus options from Canberra that run quite regularly and depending which mode of transport you take are a good way to see a bit of Australian National Captial, Scenic Lake George, some small country towns and famous Goulburn sites like the Big Merino.
We've included a link below to a website that can provide you with options and pricing. Once again, these sites only open up for bookings a few weeks prior to your travel dates, but generally they run the same times weekly. You can search options directly from Canberra airport.
