The welcome party will take place on Tuesday November 3, 2026 at the top of the iconic Sydney Tower! You've never been to a welcome party like this before! 82 floor up, taking in a breathtaking sunset over the harbour city in a 360 degree revolving resturant. Join us for a drink in the bar before a 2 hour all you can eat buffet. 

Taking in views of the world famous Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Blue Mountains, Kings Cross, Darling Harbour and everything that makes Sydney famous. Tried and tested by Nakamura Sensei who highly approved!

If you choose to travel with the AOGKF from Sydney to Goulburn, you will be able to enjoy a beautiful lunch in the picturesque Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Home to many celebrities, this area is one of the gems of country Australia. 

The Bendooley Estate is a stunning country estate nestled in the back waters of the beautiful area. Enjoy a two course meal and drinks taking in the beautiful views or try one of the fine wines.

On the afternoon of November 5, the Executive Committee will lead a special session for IOGKF country heads and IOGKF members ranked 5th Dan and above at the Lambert Karate Dojo. Split over three stories this mini Chief Instructors special training will cater for everyone. 

From polished timber floors, to mat covered areas and a full onsite gym, this Dojo is world class. Equipped with every piece of Hojo Undo and training equipment you could ever hope for, this Dojo is something special to visit Regular classes will also be running through the week with senior instructors teaching classes.

Located next door to the Lambert Karate Dojo, K&G'z has won the award for Goulburn's best resturant. It has incredible food, a beautiful venue and the entire place has been booked privately for our members. Enjoy a drink and a buffet dinner. 

The Veolia arena is very recently built and enormous venue just a few minutes walk from the Goulburn CBD. With over 7 full basketball courts worth of space across two different buildings, the main area has easily accommodated 300 IOGKF members and spectators in the past, with plenty of room for more. Both building have stadium grand stand seating, full bathroon and shower facilities, check in areas and more. The arena is fully air conditioned and the site offers private off street parking. The floors are timber, with the AOGKF also supplying mat covered areas as well.

REGISTRATION OPENING IN 2026

Another huge benefit of the Veolia Arena Complex is that directly adjacent to the training hall is the Grace Milson Function Centre. You can literally park, train and eat all in the one location. A variety of meals and drinks is available all day long for spectatora and attendees. Once you finish training, pop next door and enjoy a lunch overlooking the Goulburn Greyhound track and Rocky Hill.

On the evening of Friday November 6, 2026 the AOGKF will host a Black Belt Gala dinner at the Goulburn Workers Clubs for Dan grades. In the past the Asian Pacific Championships were held in the venue and both Chief Instructors of IOGKF have attended dinners in this welcoming venue. 

Enjoy a three course meal and drinks, catch up with old friends, make new ones and share a few laughs while we dance the night away.

Catch our bus to Kingsdale Wines, a beautiful traditional Aussie farm 5 minutes from the CBD. Indulge in some great Australian dishes, try the award winning wines and take in a stunning sunset over the water.

Enjoy a live band, meet the farm animals, dine under the stars and you have an authentic Australian country experience.
