AOGKF STATE GASSHUKU EVENT SERIES

Information about  AOGKF State Gasshuku's being held across Australia in March & April 2022 can be found below.

COVID-19

All AOGKF events are covid safe. To elimintate the risk of you becoming a close contact, all training blocks run for three hours with a 15 minute outdoor break before continuing.

Sunday April 3, 2022

Event Venue: Bungendore Public School Hall

Black Belt only training

09:00-10:00

Dan grade training with Sensei David Lambert, covering the Kata of the Goju-ryu system in detail.

All grades training

10:05-10:30

Sensei Geoff Tait and Sensei Vince Robinson will lead the entire Gasshuku in a group warm up and basics session.

Sensei David Lambert will lead all participants through a final spirit session, before Sensei Richard Toparis takes us for a cool down stretch.

Outdoor Lunch Break

13:30-14:00

Back outside to enjoy some sunshine, fresh air and a bite to eat. Our BBQ will be operating.

Optional Seminar - Kids Tournament Sparring

14:00-15:00

Sensei David Smithson and Sensei Mark Stevens will lead a session on point sparring training in the lead up to the NSW State Championships.

Optional Seminar - The Great Escape

14:00-15:15

Hazushi waza - how to escape from the many locks and chokes of Goju-ryu Karate with Sensei David Lambert
